Older than the United States of America, the creation of the tract of land that became Darshana Hall Plantation occured in 1744 by King George III. An interesting fact in itself when considering what all makes the location a perfect site for a wedding.
From spending the afternoon getting ready inside the actual 191 year old mansion, to walking across the East Lawn to the four and a half ton Italian Marble Gazebo for the ceremony itself, there is no place like it in this area to compare.
Receptions held in the Garden Courtyard with food and delicacies staged in the lavish Great Hall, it truly has the feel and atmosphere of royalty.

Darshana’s grounds and Great Hall provide the perfect solution to the problem of “what if” when considering an outdoor wedding. The four and one-half ton Italian marble gazebo on the east lawn is a lovely site for an outdoor ceremony. Tents can be added and the grand hall can easily accommodate your guests.
“Our goal and dream at Darshana Hall is to make a beautiful location where people can join together and can weave, if but for a short time, their lives into the fabric that is the history of Darshana Hall Plantation,” Keith Rhyne states. “As the name implies – a positive place for people to gather and feel love and peace."
